Junior Shooting Club

Every spring, we run this club on a weekly basis, teaching our youth shooters (10 years of age and up) the basics of gun safety and shooting. We supply all guns and ammunition; if you hold a family membership, this course is completely free.

Youth Camp

Every year, we like to send youth to the AFGA Elford Lake Camp. Campers will complete their Hunter Training Course and Gun Safety Course. Financial assistance is available for youth members who wish to attend the camp, depending on how many are interested.

Hunter Training Course

Our Hunter Training Courses are taught by our volunteers, all of whom have been educated in numerous areas. Students must cover the cost of materials.

Gun Club

Every Wednesday, starting in the spring (depending on the weather) and going through to fall, Gun Club members enjoy an evening of trap shooting. We encourage all who are interested – young and old, experienced or not – to come out and join the fun.

Wild Game Dinner

Every first Saturday of March, we prepare and serve an array of wild game for dinner. During this event, we hold various gun draws, bucket draws, and a silent auction.
The food for this event comes from local hunters who donate wild game, community members who offer monetary donations, and items donated to our silent auction. Auction items are donated by our sponsors throughout the community. We appreciate all the support we’ve received over the years and can’t thank our community enough for their generosity. We look forward to many more years of working together!

This is our biggest fundraiser of the year! We rely on your donations to host this event; if you would like to donate, get in touch!

Tickets always sell out early, so keep an ear out and get them quick!
